24 hours to sphincter 2.0!
Waking up and realizing that this time tomorrow, I will be in surgery... I'm feeling more than a little anxious. I hope my skin tag/fissure enjoy tormenting me today, if all goes according to plan... it will be their last!
I'm thinking about living it up and eating whatever I want today!
Fingers crossed that the CRS doesn't find any hemis that warrant removal.
I look forward to reporting back with good news.

Good luck tomorrow J!!! I am sure all will be fine. Just think of all of the people on here who have had the surgery and are doing well!! I don't know that I would eat whatever though, remember it's got to come out after surgery!!! I have an appt for consult Thursday, although anxious, ready!! I do have an internal hemi that I am telling him to leave alone!!!! unless it is really a big problem. I am thinking I want my tag removed, are you having yours removed?? Just think, a week from today, you will be a new person on the other side of this awful pain in the ass!!! please report on your recovery!!!

Thanks, Sue! Yes, I am having my tag removed. I could swear that the tag causes most of my pain. When the tag swells, the major pain starts. Besides, I figure that if I am to go through this ordeal, I might as well get a complete makeover!
Reading the success stories here, I feel a lot more confident about the surgery.

Good luck Buckeye! I'm 5 weeks post-LIS and feel about 85% better already!!! I'd forgotten what it felt like NOT to have to have constant pain in my bum! And I agree with Sue...don't go crazy with food. Start your ultra-soft diet now...and be careful with the pain killers...they may stop you up...

Thanks, PITA!
I'm heeding the forum pros advice and taking it easy with the food. God I miss steak!
Wouldn't you know it, day before surgery and not even a twinge! I think my tag/fissure know that their hours are numbered.
