I have had for quite a while, a flesh like looking lump, about the size of a pea on the outside of my anus that is absolutely pain free. I have visited my doctor for a check up and assumed that he saw it when he told me all was well with me and i was too embarrassed to question him about it. I have regular and way too regular constipation. I have tried high fiber diets but i don't see it changes anything. I cannot afford to visit the doctor right now and i would like to know what should i do? #worried.

Sounds like a skin tag...And thank goodness it is pain free!!! are you having any pain during or after a BM? In the diets section of the board there is lots of info..High soft fiber foods, tons of water, stool softener that works for you.

Ur description sounds like an external piles/hemm or a skin tag, did ur CRS tell u about it? A skin tag is developed if u have a fissure before. Have u tried drinking prune juice? I have been taking half a cup of prune juice every morning and magnesium oxide 400mg every night, this helps to regulate my bowel movements like clockwork. U probably also like to try it.
Also, did ur CRS ask u to do colonscopy? When u eat Hugh fiber diet, did u also drink lots of water? Do u have ibs?
