Got LIS done on my 2 chronic AF with sentinel piles

Postby AFhopefullycured » 30 Nov 2011, 01:29

Hi All,
I had 2 AF's with senitinel piles for the past 5 years. I have a fiber rich diet with good amount of water. Still, the fissure had made my life miserable.
I finally decided to go for an operation against all my fear. I was lucky to find an excellent surgeon. The operation was done under local anasthesai and it lasted for 15-20 mins. I slept after that. Had a painless recovery. No bleeding, no hard stool. Within a week all the medicines were stopped and now I am having a normal life.
So, all the people who have chronic fissure. Dont have any apprehension. Get the surgery done. Find a good colonrectal surgeon. Don't go to a general surgeon.
Best wishes
