hey beachgirl, I did massage for my spasms and it does work. First of all I would lay on my bed on my back legs bent and wherever the spasm was ususally 9 oclock, push down with gentle but firm pressure and hold that for about 30 seconds and then massage the whole are. Important wash your hands with antibacterial soap first you don't want any germs getting in there. Hope it helps
