Post LIS & Gas

Is it possible that someone can please tell me that the significant increase in post LIS gas will subside...? I'm not alone w/ this am I ?
It's been 2 months and 1 week and although happy to be doing well, the amount of gas has become a major annoyance.
And then there's my poor wife

Hey Chris! I had LIS abt 11 days back and still have gas problems so i can relate ur problem. Modifying ur diet a little bit should help. Have u been able to identify trigger foods? Eating bread gives me gas and i've tried to stay away from that. Plus, i think all fried foods n soft drinks are a strict no no until everything 'back there' is healed!

You are normal. I had it too and have heard many on the board who have. It gets better!

Oh yeah!!! Tons of gas!!! Mine has settled down. It was really bad the first week. I think it's just b/c our bodies were so used to eating bland food and now that we start to incorporate more foods, it just takes time to sort it all out!! Gas x works great for it

I appreciate the empathy. I'm really glad to hear it gets better. Hard to deal with at 9 weeks in but I'll try to stay positive.
