I am new to the forum.
I have been treated with AF for about 2 months.
I was okay with stool softeners, but i have been put on Paraphysillum ( fibre with liquid paraffin) and i have anal spams after the toilet, so bad i cannot function.
In the morning it feels like i have constipation but it is not...
Infact it is very soft. Feels lt does not go automatically, have to use my muscle.
would that be the problem?
Any words on what I might be doing wrong.
No meat... whole wheat pasta lots... of water etc..

Hi Angela,
did your doc say why the parapsylium? I'm guessing he/she wants your BMs too be a bit wider, or they want to use less stool softeners?
You felt better before this change?... less spasms?
if so, can you ease off the parapsylium a bit?
has your doctor mentioned dilaion as an option for helping spasms?
the ways people here manage spasms is, sitz baths, massage and or self dilation, and electric heating pads.
is your af healing?
