Tim,
Thanks so much for adding in your experience. I am so glad you are finally finding some relief! Two surgeries!!! While i was reading your comment the thought occurred to me that doctors offer cutting a muscle to aid healing of the fissure, obviously, but it's as if we're cutting sphincters to make them bigger to accommodate these bigger fiber laden stools, instead of logically thinking of figuring out a way to make the stools smaller and softer and narrower to accommodate the naturally anatomically narrow anus.
