I had a sphincterotomy 10 years ago and an Y-V advancment flap for another fissure 6 years ago. I now have another fissure from constipation due to pain meds from having a brain tumor removed. Does anyone know if these surgerys can be repeated. I will be talking t my CRS on tuesday and would like to be forewarned just in case.

Several people on this forum have had more than one sphincterotomy. Fissulyna (another boardie) had two. I don't recall reading of anyone having the advancement flap surgery twice. There is a lot of good information in the surgery threads you may find helpful. :)
