fibre gel and movicol

hi been trying to sort out my diet ,and have been taking loads of water,have been taking fibre gel 3 sachets a day ,can i also introduce movicol ,just to make sure the bm,s are nice and soft
have had a fissure for a month now ,hi fibre ,trying only to eat soft foods ,drink loads of water ,have retrogesic creams to ,

For me it was movicol, fibre and diet.
No white bread, pastry, cakes, cream crackers. No white rice.
Movicol. 2 sachets twice a day for 2 pr 3 days then down to 1 per day for a couple more days. Use the water indicated on the packet. Don't enjoy too much water.
Major on soluble fibre rather than insoluble. Plenty of well cooked porridge, soup, less red meat, more chicken. Well cooked carrots, baked beans, green beans brocholi/cauli. Less peas and little uncooked stuff such as salad e.g. lettuce/cucumber.

thats the way iv been heading ,i do cheat now and then though
im also been diagnosed type 2 diabeties in the last 3 months ,but hope to work to control it
