embarrasing but have to ask

Postby nightmareonelmstreet » 17 Sep 2012, 19:01

ok, this is really an embarrasing question but I really need to clear my mind. I have been using the rectiv cream for my anal fissure ( & btw it has been a miracle cream thus far ) but my question is , how far can you stick your finger up your anus??? I am being totally serious Image I can't seem to get to far internally with my cream without it feeling uncomfortable. I've never had to "finger" my butt before this. Is it suppose to feel like I'm moving through cushion or is it suppose to glide in like a vagina .. I know this is a awkward question but this is concerning me that something is wrong with my bung hole Image

JUST AT THE OPENING

My gastro-intestinal specialist said I only had to put the cream at the opening as the body absorbs the cream. I use all three nifedipine, diltiazem, and nitroglycerin cream and all they did was give me a headache. If you put your finger all the way in you risk irritating the fissure.
I later used virgin coconut oil and the itching and anal fissure disappeared.

The reason it is so difficult to insert a finger is because the muscle is tightening in response to the fissure being present. In a normal situation it shouldn't be difficult to insert a finger into the anus. There are differing opinions on this, but in my opinion, being very gentle as to not irritate the fissure, it is most beneficial to help the muscle loosen up by inserting a finger in as far as you can by going slowly and massaging around the outside. Some of us are also using anal dilators with some success to achieve even greater relaxation. Everyone has to decide these things for themselves and see what works best for them and what they feel comfortable with.
