Hi there, does the pain continue after BM? It's not uncommon to have lingering pain for most of the day with slight relief in the evening. Some people have had pain during walking though this seemed to ease mine a little.

Yes that sounds about right. I found that after a BM the pain eased a little but then about an hour later started to increase again. It would then feel bad for up to 5 hours later before reducing again. I have found that after a BM if I sit on a warm hot water bottle it helps.

I have pain that starts about 20 mis after a bm. It lasts all day. It mostly feels better when I can walk around. Standing and sitting are uncomfortable.

hey steveR
Same with my problem i will not feel pain after my BM just a bit itchy at the skin tag but about an hour later the pain will increase and stays for like four to five hours. My BM is improving with less and sometimes no blood.Hopefully it is a sign of healing. I have stop using any chemical cream and now just apply virgin coconut oil 2 to 3 times a day.

Is this after the surgery o rbefore it? I have a abycess and a fisula was found - thus I need the surgery and am in so much dispare about having a surgery. As of now, after a B/M the abycess fills with in 1 hour. After 3 hours it gets large and I squat and manual drain it - I get 2 teaspoons of blood and pus. After I drain it- I get relief until the next B/M and the cycle repeats itself. This is no way to live - I am praying the surgery fixes this.
