I'm scheduled for an LIS next week and I'm a little nervous. Most things I have read say that the post-op pain is usually mild compared to the pain from the fissure itself. I hope this is true, because I have had horrible pain from my fissure. I'm sick and tired of dealing with this and of being terrified to take a crap every day. I dream of the day that I can enjoy taking a crap again like every other man on the planet.
