Yes, I have two questions to ask everyone actually?
1. How viable is the option of an advancement flap??
2. What causes flare-ups??? Why is it on one occasion you can have a normal bowel movement, and then on the next occasion you can have bleeding and pain!??? I am confused???!

I have the same issue w flare ups and no one has been able to answer it. Perhaps we heal and then retear with just the right amount of pressure/stretching with a harder or more formed stool. Focus on keeping the stool soft. My CRS said to use Colace. Trying it tonight. She mentioned the flap surgery as an option but said LIS is less involved even in my case where it would be a 2nd LIS.
