Surgeon wants to use some type of cells?

Postby thefer74 » 13 Dec 2012, 20:10

Hi
Today, I spoke with my surgeon as I had some last minute questions. He mentioned that he wants to use some type of cells to help with reducing pain and healing. They are going to fix the fissure, put a seton in and laser off the scar tissue. Has anyone had this done? He mentioned the name but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet. Apparently, studies support it.
thanks
Jennifer

I never heard of this procedure before, but I am very interested on it, it sounds like something new, I will be researching, thanks for the info.

Hi
I called my dr's office today as they were working. It is called AmnioMatrix. It is using cells from the amniotic tissue. I guess it is fairly new but it can reduce healing and recovering time.
