Hi guys
Update time I'm over a month now post op 'fistulotomy
Saw my surgeon last Friday the 4 Jan said it all looks OK healing OK 'i get an achy feeling in the area liked a dull pain 'mightg be where he cut the muscle in the op my op went well my fistula was higher than first thought but I had good muscle tone in the sphicter'so had a lay open fistulotomy '.I went back to work last night was nervous and I had a messy bm before I left for work 'tjis took a while to clean up and for some reason if I have to bms
in a day I seem to get some blood when I clean and I had to clean my self twice more at work 'i had some drainage which felt uncomfortable'but was OK
Over all hope and pray I'm healing OK keeping it all as soft as I can 'stool soft er 'loads of water
Still feels strange after a bm for a while like if I have a passed a big bm '

Hi guys
Well I hope I'm still healing after my messy bm on sat work was OK this week '
I'm still getting some blood on clean up after a bm 'no pain as such but I know I where the wound is 'its fresh red blood ' so? the internal part of my fistulotmy is not healed yet

Just back from seeing the nurse she said its healing OK
but there is a couple of skin tags in the area that look raw .hope these settle down .
