I did, I tried acupuncture when I developed chronic diarrhea after my gallbladder surgery, it did bring a balance to my body, but I still had the bouts of diarrhea and still developed the fissure I am fighting right now.
I did the acupuncture for 6 months.

me too - i've done acupuncture, naturopathy, every cream and tincture you could imagine. My fissure is stronger than ever, oh my.
Currently I am taking "Curcumin" - its mixture of turmeric and red pepper extract - pill form. Its supposed to heal the insides and reduce inflammation.
I never have considered surgery, but I am on the verge of losing it, and that may be my last option.

Yes. I'm actually an acupuncturist. If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to answer them. In short, its not a cure all, but it often helps. For the majority of people, acupuncture in combination with good diet and self care can heal a fissure. There are some kind of fissures that we can do more with than others. If your fissure is due to constipation caused by diet (the most common cause,) acupuncture is almost sure to lead to a healing.
This is reminding me that I haven't used the needles on myself in a while. Why do I always remember this 5 minutes before I go to work?
