Has anyone had Botox injected a few days before a very long flight?
Or had a doctor tell them whether or not that was a good idea?

I'd not really worry about it :D. I was just as comfy with botox as without. It'll be a bit touchy but after a few days you'll be smooth sailing.

Agreed. I flew just before Botox. I was pretty much pain free at that stage. I could have flown a few days after. I guess if you felt you could do it now then you should be OK after botox. Just ask for an aisle seat so you can keep mobile. I took my kit of creams and doubled my Movicol and added some laxatives. I also took a donut pillow but it was horrible to sit on but was useful behind my back.

I'm mainly concerned with the small chance of an infection or internal hemmrds or whatever other bad stuff could happen. The pain I'm not so worried about. I had the Botox shot once before and the pain was not bad at all.
Just don't want to end up with a complication in Bangkok, a city I don't know very well (I'm in NYC).

After posting the last time I had the thought that if it was me I would not take the risk. I postponed my botox to get a trip done before rather than after. The best chance of healing is of course home where you have more control

Yeah, it's a tough call.
Although I had no issues last time with the Botox...
And I'm going to be gone for a whole month so the Botox would provide some "insurance" against increasing fissure pain...
But I am very hesitant to take any chance of unexpected issues that could arise...
