cancer chemotheraphy and fissure

my mom is on chemo for lymhoma... she is having fissure since 1-2 yrs... now with each cycle her fissue is hurting more nad more... fissure is more painful than her chemo... she cant go for a surgery nw.. pray for her....any advices or sugggestions?

So sorry to hear your mom is suffering so much.. It must be an awful time for the whole family.
I would suggest reading the stickys there will be lots of helpful tips on there to get started with, such as a warm bath after a bm, upping fibre and water intake.
I hope you can find some things that can help her.

The chemo can actually cause fissures. :(
I'm assuming the doctor has told her she can't use the creams, and that she has to stay away from herbs. Maybe some of the dilation techniques discussed here? Acupuncture is also an option. Its not the first thing I recommend for fissure treatment, but it is a safe option, and it can be useful.
