I have had severe constipation and motility issues for decades. I am wondering if it might possibly improve after the sphincter is relaxed from LIS surgery? Anyone see improvements?

I too have suffered severe constipation for most of my life, which led to hemmi's and now anal fissure. I had LIS surgery March 8. I still have to keep things extremely soft so I can have bm. I switched the type of fiber powder I was using, and was suddenly constipated and VERY scared. So in my experience, LIS was not improvement, but everyone is different.
