If you are new and a little lost, here are a few tips for using the board.
Notice that the forum is divided up into different boards, so post your topic under the appropriate one.  This will help others in the future get their information much easier without having to dig through unnecessary stuff!
PLEASE, don't hijack threads (though I have been guilty of this).
If your question or statement is not related to the current topic, PLEASE start a new thread.  Respect the person who started the thread and don't get off their topic.  

Please don't use private messages to admins or moderators when you could ask the question on the public side of the board.  You'll get more answers that way and our admins and moderators have a life and are already quite busy, they can get to your questions on the board.
If you have any other questions about using the board, *this* is the thread to ask...fire away!

Ohh I didn't realize it must be that much different on an iPad or mobile device.... Is there a way to get them on those?? Thanks!

I have an iPad which I am using right now, and the emoticons are right there. Straight above where I am writing this "Quick Reply," is a line of square icons. One has a little smily face. The emoticons! (by the way, if once you have written your post you click on "Preview" all the emotions will display much better on the right side on the iPad). Hope this solves this for you.
