Ha. lol. never heard of pain as being a 'good sign' before!
:D
I did use some aloe gel today, but not the straight from the plant kind. I was a tad itchy for a while but don't feel any irritation now.
I see my crs on thursday and worry about 'poking around'. but I would like his opinion so I guess I must endure it and hope for the best.
good luck with the aloe JT!

I found this article about how to 'fillet' an aloe leaf.
I guess the inside of the leaf next to the skin can be irritating. Perhaps that is what was happening to me? Although I don't have an allergy to latex that I know of.

There's an aloe-based lube that I use regularly. It's just called "Personal Gel" lubricant by Aloelife. I found it at Whole Foods.

Hi everyone,
I read with interes about aloe, but I wonder when excactly do you use it? During the day, before BM or afterBM to realease pain?
I am so desperate that I will probably buy aloe tomorrow and try it.
I really need some help on what to do after BM's when the pain is unbearable :)
