Good luck OMB. I am now, after surgery for an abscess, botox injections, fissurotomy and more botox injections, awaiting an EUA and opening up of a fistula. It has been a long road for me too and I am also nervous about my upcoming surgery, but I wish you all the luck in the world. Things can only get better is the way I look at it. At least I have been able to claim some of my life back, drive a bit, go to more places etc. Can't wait for the day I can go on a road trip with no problems!! Sending good wishes your way Image

Hi, owmybum. Was thinking about you this morning. Just a few more days until your surgery. I know how nervous you must be. Try to think about how good it will feel to finally have this all behind you. I know I tried to keep myself busy up until the day before surgery. I made sure I got everything I thought I would need before surgery and I even cooked a bunch of meals ahead of time and froze them. I'm glad I did that because my husband isn't a very good cook. I also made sure I had comfortable nightshirts to wear after. I found them to be the most comfortable. I asked the hospital for one of their waterproof pads to put under me when I slept and that worked out great. I'll be keeping you in my prayers. If you have any questions please ask. Just think in 9 days you'll finally be on the road to recovery. Sending a great big hug. Suzy

owmybum, remember to get a new thread on the surgery and recovery, that helps a lot of people relate more with what it feels to have surgery and what to expect after. :D

Hi OMB,
I wish you well in your surgery I see your in two days after me I'm so scared 😬. I was reading one of your other posts & noticed you bought a shitz bath on amazon do you find it any good? I can't find post now. I was thinking of getting one as I find it a pain in the butt getting in & out of tub so often. Do they work well?
Thanking you 😊
