Shoot! I've been using WITCH HAZEL for months now instead of toilet paper, guess that's not a good idea for fissures eh Image

I had already made up my mind for botox instead of LIS, after reading all the post-surgical complications on the web. I had decided that LIS would be my next option, if botox fails. I was not aware of fissurectomy at all, until the doctor suggested it. I think he suggested it because my flexi-sigmoidscopy report showed a very deep fissure. Thanks to its chronic stage.

Hi, Port, my doctor gave me tucks and then told me to rinse them in warm water before I use them. Works great and the pads are so small they're flushable.

My fissure symptoms improved loads when I used over the counter anusol with hydrocortisone. My sentinel pile was playing up so I decided to give it a go just for a week, and noticed a real difference. I wouldn't use it for longer than a couple of weeks though, as it will thin the skin with prolonged use.
