Hi there! I'm 3 days post-op (LIS) and have started using coconut oil yesterday. No adverse reactions. Make sure you have organic virgin coconut oil, cold pressed! :)
VCO is antiseptic and antibacterial as well as healing, so it should be okay. Just remember no double dipping. What I like to do is to pour a little out in a small bowl so I won't contaminate the bottle!! Good luck!

I've just bought some from Amazon as I've heard some good things. I'm 12 days post double fissurectomy, tag removal & Botox. Will start using it as soon as its here.
Keep us updated P Butt. Would love to know how it's working for you.

I found that applying to much stuff down there does not work well.
So I just have sitz bath with coconut oil and afterwards apply some nitro.

Hi Igrik, yes of course it's not good to be applying too much kinds of things... I only use coconut oil since in my country nitro isn't available. :) Sometimes I mix sunflower oil and concentrated mineral drops, but lately I just use coconut oil alone.
