Notable quotes from this blog include
1."Chew it well, poop it well" is my motto.
2."Drink plenty and poop gently" wow I'm on a roll with these!
3.Take care of your ass.... So you don't poop glass.!!
4.Be careful what you scoff... To keep you bms soft!!
5.Hay all, we should create a fissure song and publish it, Me thinks me is loosing my mind..lol,

What the heck is going on in here. How come no one invited me to this party. I thought I would come in here, see the word "suicide" a few times, see the phrase "ready to jump off a cliff" a dozen or so more times but nooooo!!
WelshDoubleFissure; Hats off to you girl. You sure are a fighter. This is how you are treating your AF's
Image
Kill 'em dead girl.
You wondered:
Once it's healed down there is approx 8-10 weeks, how do you build up to larger stools? Has anyone got that far yet?

Quick lowdown on my case; I am now on year three of being fissure free. Never had any surgery, just multiple multiple fissure over a 20 year reign-(yes my fissures had that much control over me).
I was so poor I never saw a doc, so I basically threw everything I could at fighting this mono e mono. I finally found what foods kept causing me hard stool and to this day I avoid eating too much of them (salty and floury foods) and I have been able to stay fissure free....even with a few hard stools now and again.
You have to give your bottom a good while to heal though before this can happen. Granted with a fissurectomy it may take even longer, but things will get back to normal quite well down there.
When your back to full strength down there after a year or two, yes wondering if your next hard bm will be your 'cour de gras' can become worrisome. But for me at least even a couple of hard bm's in a row will not produce fissures anymore.
That cause I always become very pro-active in making sure the next BM's are ohh so soft the natural way. Like you say its all about diet.
I believe that if I would continue to eat those foods I know make my stools hard and if I were to poop-out 2 hard BM's while eating this way, then I would quite possibly get another fissure.
But avoiding certain foods, I believe gives our anus the strength it needs to fight off the occasional hard stools.

Butt blog update:Day 34
So not a huge set back today but had an unannounced BM whilst having a quick pee at 6:30 this morning just before I needed to leave for work. Hadn't even had time to put my Diltiazem on and there it was, knocking at the door. Who poops half hour after waking up? Come on give me a break!
Despite me eating at specific times of the day for 4 weeks, there's no routine to my BMs. They are summoned at all time of the day between 6:30 and 9:30. It's like waiting for a frigging Parcelforce delivery. You wait in all day and it doesn't come until late evening. Or you're about to do something important and it rears at the most inconvenient time. Damn you ParcelforcePoohs! I need some sort of tracking facility for them!
So back to the actual BM. I felt it move past the fissure today - which I haven't felt for 10 days. It wasn't really painful, but slightly uncomfortable. My butthole seems a little tender. But hey it's been through some trauma and I guess it's expected.
2nd BM at 10 then exactly the same. Slight discomfort. Walking slower then.
I guess I'm a little stressed as I'm in the midst of asking for a secondment promotion in work and its all a bit uncertain, not to mention trying to help my ex to come to terms with our recent breakup.
Just keeping calm and taking every day as it comes.
Hope you're all doing well.
Drink plenty and poop... Ah you know the rest by now.

Welsh your hilarious lol.
I poop less than half hr after i wake so it does happen. Id say the stress has a bit to do with your tenderness so do be careful. Hope you get your promotion best of luck with that :)
Keep calm you'll get there.
Take care x

Hey Welsh,
Sorry to hear today wasnt as good as the last 10, but lets hope its just a 1 off while your body is still repairing down there. As you say, it has been through a lot!
And not easy when you dont know when your next BM is going to arrive! Do you drink prune juice before you go to bed at night? No doubt you have tried it all, but if not, it does seem to help some people.
Sounds like you have your hands full at the moment, and with the added pressure of the break up and dealing with the ex, I really hope tomorrow is a better day for you so that you can deal with one thing at a time.
Breakups are never easy, and tend to really take it out of you emotianally, without the added stress of dealing with, I think the worst Bum thing ever!!!
But you are not alone :D There is always someone right here if you need to talk, not just about our fissures, but about anything. We are all part of the Bum club. If we can share and help each other about our intimate bums...then we sure can support each other in other areas of our lives Image
These nasty little fissures take up all our energy in dealing with them, and dont leave us with much of a reserve to deal with a lot else. So you wanna scream, shout, or just chat....we are all here for you.
Sending you a hug and lots of healing energy. Tomorrow is a whole new day, and things can only get better Image  X

Pleasegoaway Haha. I actually think seeing the name of the gif was funnier than seen the actual gif because I can only imagine what a dancing banana is going to be like.
If you google "forum emoticons" there's loads of sites and you have to copy the link for "forum use".
Thanks Edel, ETO, buttastic and my lovely sunshine! Your words are always so kind and supportive.
Buttastic, this is a place to vent with humour as laughter makes it all seem a bit easier to deal with. Plus my life is always full of antics that are worth sharing.
Sunshine your reply gave me a lump in my throat. I really appreciate it. And like the term "bum club". It's like fight club - but the first rule of bum club is you have to talk about bum club but only to other bum clubbers. 2nd rule of bum club is that you cant talk about bum club to non bum clubbers (unless you notice the recognised fissure shuffle from the loo).
I've tried eating prunes and didn't feel a difference. I could try prune juice before bed - not sure if it'll work but will definitely try to stomach it.
Thanks fellow bum clubbers!
Big love to you all!
