Ok, so one week ago I had surgery for these nasty piles. Mine were not huge but painful.
Interesting thing was said by CRS:
>>Hemorrhoids don't have to be big to cause huge pain and they don't have to be huge to recommend a surgery<<
I don't know exactly how many of them were removed but I asked CRS to take care especially about those on my 10 clock which were most painful (and exactly that was done).
It was not typical rubber banding, however sth. similar was done. Piles were band tight and the upper, painful parts were cut out. They use absorbable thread for banding.
CRS did also manual dilatation. It was done in order to help my AF to heal. I know it is considered to be a dangerous manoeuvre but it's really not if you don't do it to hard. Actually in last years this procedure is more and more popular in some European countries...
Of course there was some pain afterwards, since I had 2 in 1 :D
I can still feel it especially when BM, but this is obvious and the pain is comparable to the one I felt before. It's a little different pain though - a little bit stronger but also shorter. Yesterday there was also quite a lot of blood even 2 hours after BM.
I could also feel 'ring of fire' caused by dilatation, but only for one day.
Today I had really big BM caused by brown rice or another bread I had yesterday and yes it was painful for my AF.
But, it was also my widest BM in its diameter in last few years so I have even named it - FREIGHT TRAIN STRAIGHT OUT OF HELL
I am sure it was caused by dilatation. On Friday I have a check-up. Hope to get information about surgery. Will ask about piles if there are any more left (me and CRS agreed not to cut all if there will be too many to avoid traumatic pain afterwards).
Looking forward to have these fresh wounds healed and let the dilatation do it's job regarding AF.
Surgeries are good - they give you hope.
I need it.
