Postby Kreaybutt » 01 Sep 2013, 14:48

Yesterday I ate ice cream..
Today I had Mexican food.. Fajitas, beans, corn tortillas. Skipped the rice though.
Oh and 3 days ago I had Chinese food. Nice fat yummy lo mein noodles. My taste buds were on cloud 9.
Has anyone else been a cheater lately? Do share!! :)

Chocolate (as ever) and a creamy mocha frappe.....although I can get away with the odd treat because I generally balance my diet pretty well these days!!
More interestingly though, what effect has this had on your BM's (if any?)........:)

Funny that you ask, ETO. The past week my BM's have been thick, round and harder to pass. After writing this post I am no longer wondering why this is happening. lol silly me. I've been trying old beloved foods in hopes of gaining weight and getting my system used to them again. My BM's are all over the place right now. So tonight I'm having a kale, avocado and fruit smoothie with peanut butter..mmmm yummy

How was the mocha frapp on the tummy? I've always only had decaf beverages but even those made me run to the bathroom. It's going to be hard not to try all the holiday drinks at Starbucks this coming season!! Boo :(

I'm sitting here reading AFF and drinking a beer!!!!!
But I'll have to pay for it with a pint of water before bedtime. :(
Nifedipine/lidocaine, no help
Diltiazem, effective, but caused major rash
Nitroglycerine, effective.
Topical estrogen for final healing.
Gentle heat to bottom - pain relief, muscle relaxant
Kondremul mineral oil
Time - lots of time.
Status - Healed!

If you can call that cheating, yesterday I swiched from heavy Pumpernickel-type bread to a bit softer full grain bread and tried some brown rice.
I was also a little lazy yesterday and didn't go to pharmacy to buy my Lactulosum, so I stick only to paraffin oil since yesterday.
Hopefully that combination will not annihilate my anus tomorrow Image

Mmm a beer sounds amazing! Or a big glass of ice cold white wine. Enchiladas will be my next victim! I make the best kind (well in my opinion) haha they're deliciously cheesy which is why I haven't had them in so long. Boo!
J-32 how did the bread and rice effect your BM today? I hope all was well!! I myself am soaking some brown rice in water right now(was told that helps being out the good enzymes) to make for lunch with baked tilapia and veggies. Yummy

Hi Kreay,
The mocha frappe went down a treat!! but I wouldn't make it a regular thing. It so goes to show though how what you eat affects your body hugely!!
I just spent a week away with no bread just veggies/ salads/ fruits/ light meats & fish and had the best BMs ever -Back in the UK and back on the bread & high bran cereals again and my BMs are soft but so much larger & less easier (but OK) to pass than a week ago!
I've got to add I also spent the week away drinking at least 2 glasses of nice chilled lager a day BUT I was also drinking a lot of water too and this didn't affect me at all.
Good luck with your cheesy enchiladas!!!!
J-32, brown rice has always worked wonders on my BMs - so hopefully you should be fine & if the bread was wholemeal too, this shouldn't cause you too many issues....

Kreaybutt it haven't yet. Tomorrow is my judgement day Image
ETO - 1 week of perfect BMs sounds great. If I only could have one like that... Now.
Tomorrow I will be back with my diary.
My BMs are quite painful now. There is also a lot of blood. However I think it is normal after type of surgery I had. On Friday I have a check-up.
