Hi Everybody,

I have stumbled across this great site and I'm really impressed with the way in which everybody chats with each other.

Kind of glad I found a place where others are possibly feeling or going through the same as me :-)

I have just had my Botox injection a few days ago and with my first BM's the pain has been off the scale, I would resume this is normal?
I would like to ask, when does the Botox kick in?

Many Thanks

Hi wins... I had Botox in June, and it took a full two weeks for it to fully kick in with me. Just take it really easy, and rest up. Take a good stool softener, lots of warm sitz baths, or soaks in the bath.... And plenty of water throughout the day. A couple of ibuprofen will help to take the edge off for the first few days too.

Hope things start to ease up soon xxx

Thanks so much for your post owmybum, I think it's really hard to talk to my friends and family who aren't going through this, your post has made me feel a little better :-)
