Is what I said when I looked a little closer into Psyllium husk. Like others I at first said hey this may be some good stuff and I almost put a link up in the website section here. I easily saw it was not for everyone (right, what is) but with the simple alternative of flaxseed, I said psyllium is not even worth my time. It definitely can benefit others, though you just have to be careful.
I kept seeing places where they were saying that the psyllium really bulks you up too much, so much so that others have reported that they re-tore their fissure from it. they say you really really have to take in enormous humungus amounts of water if your taking the psyllium.
The alternative, Flaxseed was much less bulkier and better on the system. Here in the past psyllium has been dicussed much it seems that 2-3 out of 10 have issues with it versus far less with flaxseed. Click on this link and you can follow the 270 threads on psyllium.
