I'm pretty sure that I have hemorrhoids as well as or instead of fissure. Still not really sure of my true diagnosis. But at the moment am taking Nitro for a fissure.
Does anyone know if this has an adverse or beneficial effect on the hemorrhoids?

I think most of us on here have hemmies as well, and we still all use the creams. I dont think it would have an adverese effect on it, but the hemmie cream I was given certainly hurt my fissure!

I don't know about Nitro but there has been some research done on Nefidepine for use on thrombosed external hemorrhoids that shows it can help.

same for nitro--some studies show that reduceing internal sphincter restng pressure has a beneficial effect on hemmies too.
