Sugar,
I love Nuts and have no issues with them if well chewed, at all.
My biggest weakness are the Salt & Vinegar flavoured Peanuts, which are addictive but worst of all actually leave my bum a bit sore from the acidity after passing them!!
It's great to develop a disciplined diet & cut out the crap that your body really doesn't need (deep fried chips/ greasy pizzas/ stodgy pastries, cakes etc.) but don't deny yourself everything - It could be that nuts actually work well for you & they are good for you too in small quantities, so don't dismiss everything completely - a small handful of nuts could cause you no issues at all. Just remember to keep everything in moderation. I did fall into the trap of eliminating pretty much most scarey things when I got my fissure, lost too much weight, but actually after time, began to realise that some of the things I'd first cut-out, were actually OK and sometimes helpful.......dark chocolate in moderation, being one of these!!........Keep that food diary going and don't be afraid to try things too - just don't overeat them until you're sure :)
