ahhhhh...doctors Image
Sphincter that IS in contraction is inside sphincter that we have NO control of - we can not squeeze it, or relax it voluntarily. It is completely automatic and autonomous apparatus and I want to send that "doctor" back to anatomy and physiology class Image !!!
If it was possible to effect that muscle "on demand" - than we would not need LIS, or Botox or anything else Image
Sorry Amy for "ranting" here LOL - but some doctors just make me want to take them by the collar and shake them really well LOL As long as there is a pain - it will spasm - there is no way around it. And, the stronger the muscle - the stronger is the pain

Amy
Do you think that you being so active, etc. are adding to you pain and problems down south? I went to work yesterday and during the day I could feel the crack in my butt (fissure) more and more, and when I came home there was blood you know where and I spent the rest of the day on the couch - fun!

Corsi - should I come and "tie" you on that couch LOL, or you will take it easy and let your TWO fissures heal Image Image Image
(Disclamer:
Any reference of me really coming to Corsie's place is purely product of authors imagination and does not imply any real threat or real intention of performing act of forceful tying)

corsi-you should take it easy for a while.if you are not comfortable working, you shouldnt.i didnt sit on my butt directly for almost 2 months.maybe it wasnt needed but i was too scared to sit.
healing process is also very important after surgery.

I second what Pinky said, Corsi, pal!
Sounds like you are "right on top of it," though, so to speak!
Do take it easy, Breezy!
