Question for those living in Australia:

- If I want to get surgery as soon as possible, can I skip the waiting time by paying out of pocket privately? I am currently abroad in Europe but am considering flying home to Adelaide in the next couple of weeks to get some consults and then get treated as soon as the CRS tells me which is the best surgery for me. I am willing to pay out of pocket because I'd like to be back to work and normal life as soon as possible.

- Also, how does one find a good and experienced CRS? I'd love to know who the best colorectal surgeons are in Adelaide but I don't think google can give me those answers or at least credible sources...
