Sorry in advance for TMI!
September 30th I had a seton inserted for a rectal fistula. The surgeon also made an incision where the external opening of the fistula was, to bring it closer to the opening of my rectum (I get this incision packed everyday). He also had to cauterize some fissures during the surgery.
I've been having regular/soft BMS. But they aren't normal shaped, they are wide and quite flat. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be because of the seton or swelling? I haven't been able to get a hold of my surgeon, but I do see him in a few days.
