I'm keeping my regular diary updated but wanted to ask a seperate question regarding healed fissures.

I get no blood on bm and 0-1/10 pain on bm but then after the bm I get that annoying tugging pain thats enough to make me wince. When I apply my GTN (been on this for so long now!) where my fissure is/was the tissue is of a different consistancy, almost a bit rough but not if that makes sense? I'm guessing this is scar tissue as I am no longer bleeding but my question is will this scar tissue ever go away?! any other cream than GTN gives me a huge rash otherwise I'd use aloe to try to break it down.

don't get me wrong I'm glad I'm not in agony every day but it's getting so annoying as I feel so close to healing. seeing my surgeon on friday so going to talk to him too.

My symptoms were like that when my fissure were chronic. I only had blood once, and that was when it tore initially. A few months later when it was chronic, I only had 0-1 pain on BM, and then pain for hours. Some days good, some days bad.

Are you really sure your fissure has healed? It sounds more like a chronic fissure to me.

Maybe your right. It's just so uncomfortable.... At least with the acute fissure pain I knew where I stood ! But now it's just an annoying constant dull pain so I'm more confused now. Do I ask for a fissurectomy? Or just Botox? Or both? I dunno
