Hi guys. I had 2 neurostimulator implanted in to my back last year to help with my bowel condition. But have been having lots of problems with them. I'm just wondering if anyone on here has them?

I had LIS surgery a year ago. The fissure pain itself is gone, but every time I have a BM I have an aching pain in my rectum and a burning pain in the toes on my left foot! I know this sounds crazy, but the pain is very real. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this, or has ever heard of it?

Read a US paper on sacral nerve stimulation for Fissures with a 100% success rate. Cant get a UK doctor to help - any advice?

Recently read two medical trials into Sacral Nerve Stimulation for fissures.

Spoke to my UK doctor who said i would have to jump through many hoops and he would never offer this. Trying to find a surgeon who would be willing to look at the research which although a small trial was 100% succesful.
