Sentinel pile removal on NHS?

Postby sarahkp » 20 Jun 2019, 15:02

I had my fissure botoxed twice about 2 years ago. Since then it’s about 90% healed and it’s nowhere as near as painful as it was, but today the sentinel pile that is next to it burst and is pretty angry looking. Does anyone know if they’ll remove a sentinel pile on the NHS? It’s obviously going to be an issue but I don’t know if they’ll treat it as my fissure is not that bad. If they want to Botox it again then fine, but as I’ve had it twice I’m doubting they’ll offer it again and they won’t give me the LIS anyway.

I think you have answered your own question in the last sentence. But you could ask your doctor. Personally, I would leave it, let it heal. Also, look at the similar topics after this post. Something might be there.
