Skin tag removal by dermatologist?

Postby hothead » 12 Jun 2012, 11:29

Hi peeps,
Well, my butt has recovered, but I am so self-conscious about my skin tag. Removal by a CRS is about $1000, which as a poor grad student I can't afford. There's a dermatologist here who will do it for about $200 - is this a terrible idea? Called her office and her staff said she does these.
Thoughts?

So what happened hothead? I am curious about this as I received a skin tag as a lovely parting gift after my fissurectomy/LIS..

On here with a new username.

In case any one finds this post and is wondering - I went, and they were like, "oh, no, no, we can't remove THAT kind of skin tag"... even though they said they did on the phone. Wasted money.
