Val just brought up a good point. The wait can be much longer depending on what country you're in!
I'm from the US and I believe things move a little faster here than many other places- from what I've read on here:)

Do you have a different kind of healthcare in US Dawn? Do you have the equivalent of Private and NHS?

Hey Val, I believe it is the equivalent to going private in UK- just from reading on here....
We don't have waiting list or anything like that. We just make an appointment and either pay out of pocket or our Ins. pays, sometimes both. It sounds to me like it is a lot like going private-in the UK.

The NHS waiting list sucks big time, but what can we expect when it's free, God knows what the private cost would be, occasionally the NHS lists get transferred to private (Spire Healthcare) under a contract payed by the NHS so we can get private treatment free of charge, this is what I'm hoping for!
