Hello people,
I was undergone fistulotomy with LIS on 15th february. Now I feel a swelling on the LIS site and still cant sit properly on left buttock. And there is burning pain in the LIS site after each BMs. There is also discharge which is staining my undercloths. Is it okay there will b a swelling like that? My surgeon said its okay and it will decrease over time. I want to know about ur experiences after LIS.

How are you doing now ? You must be over 2 weeks post -op. Where did you have your procedure done ? what country ?

I am from Bangladesh. Yaa its 2 weeks. You know my CRS did the closed LIS and the swelling was hematoma. On 6th Post op day during BM suddenly the stitch were opened. I felt releived bt i saw clots of blood coming from the site and theres a big gap. I immediately consulted him. Again went to OT, and under anaethesia he removed all the clots and gave a pressure pack. After that u know i felt well and now the gap is almost vanished. Only some discharge from the fistulotomy site. I m taking hip bath twice daily.
