Supplies post-LIS

What supplies should I stock my home with post-LIS? I have already bought gauze, wipes, more stool softener, more Miralax, and barrier cream. Am I missing anything?

Pain killers that aren't constipating. Some quick healthy foods to eat whilst in recovery.
I think you have the most important things covered (along with a sitz, as Sav suggests)

Good luck!

Ice packs and a heating pad for temperature therapy :)

Plenty of diversions to occupy you while you wait for poop to come out! Sorry to be graphic but it can take a minute for it to happen!

Thanks! I have a regular bath tub and that seems to have worked well so far. Assuming that would still be the case?

Hello vdb324......From your previous posts, it looks like you had LIS surgery earlier this month. How has been your recovery so far? Hope things are going fine with you. Similar to your condition, I have also mild form of IBS and I am wondering how the surgery will affect concerning leakage/incontinence. Keep us posted whenever you can. Thanks!
