Taking NSAIDs when AF is bleeding??

Postby Guest » 16 Oct 2007, 12:21

NSAIDs (Aleve, Advil) are supposed to cause thinning of the blood, so are they safe to take when one's AF is open and bleeding?
Has anyone used these with no issues during a reopening period of their AF?
Thanks

I avoided anything that might thin my blood, but you know, maybe I'm just crazy, but it would seem that if your blood was a bit thinner, it might have an easier time sqeezing past that tight sphincter and getting to the fissure site.
Of course, people who bleed heavily fromt he fissure site wouldn't want thin blood....
