I'm actually still doing it and will continue doing it for at least a few more months. However, I'm not using as much cotton anymore. I just put in a soaked cotton before going to bed. During the day I use a dosing syringe and just pump in the oil mixture. I realized that I get really bloated when I have the cottons inside which is not very comfortable when I'm in the office. So I just use the oil directly during the day and during the night I fill up my butt with cotton balls.

I have/had the fissure since March 2016. In December 2016 I started using the oils and cotton balls. Since about April or so I'm mostly pain free. The tear is still there but I'm hopeful that it can close/heal eventually (according to some other posts here this shoudl be possible).
However, will show it to another specialist and ask what he thinks about the closing by natural healing. Maybe I still might have to get some cuts. At least it's pain free for 95% of the time.

That is good maybe you could just remove the scar tissue so it heals better I've had my fissure for 3.5 years. Do you have a skin tag and have you ever had spasms?

Has your fissure healed fully by itself or did you have to get any cuts? Do you have any scar or tear still?
Yeah maybe they will suggest to remove the scar tissue for full healing.

I've had some spasms but that's been months ago since I had the last one. It's basically just sitting there doing nothing now. Except some episodes of discomfort occasionally (after sitting for a long time or sitting on an uncomfortable chair). Luckily I never had a skin tag. I guess I am lucky with this.

I have a skin tag. My fissure hasn't healed it heals for a few weeks then it comes back I believe the scar tissue needs to be removed because it's a weak spot. But then again maybe my sphincter is to tight now after years of trauma I'll be looking into all my options this week when I see my doctor you must live in fear like i do never knowing when it mite reappear?

I have another appointment with a specialist in july to hopefully get a diagnosis about the tear/scar. Since I'm 98% painfree now it's not that dramatic but I am still a bit worried if it doesnt heal because I fear that it might keep on breaking up some day.
I'm currently using self made suppositories with coconut oil and a little bit of lavender oil it in. Putting one in as many times as possible every day (around 3-5x times per day).

Hey a surgeon I spoke to believes we can all heal by keeping bms soft an the ring relaxed so she's putting me the diltiazem cream if that doesn't work botox is next for me I guess we can heal regardless of anything i.e. skin tag chronic what ever
