hi guys today is my lis gota leave here in 5 hours
just had bm tried going as slow as possible didnt want a repeat of yesterday ( was ucomfy alllllll day and half the night ) i feel abit uncomfy atm , mainly from transitioning from standing to seats. the obvs as im sat longer is gradually hurts abit more
feels super weird atm i cant stand it lol ,im booked in for lis and botox btw , i tried looking to on google to see if anyone else has had this done same time before? i am drinking loads of water atm hoping it will make me feel abit better but still scared af , mainly scared that im gonna wake up in pain in hoppi ( more pain than i already do , i will prob faint lol ) abit worried atm again as the pain sometimes lingers in slowly. havent put on my rectogesic yet , as i put it on straight after bm yesterday noticed burned all day after. so will wait till it kind of settles
Yeah good luck James, and don't worry about the first BM post LIS, it'll be nothing like as bad as most people fear...! Just keep well hydrated, eat plenty of fibre and use stool softners. Also if they give you Coedine you might also be told to take laxatives as it causes constipation...
Good luck, James. The first bowel movement for me was very easy and I hope that you have a similar experience. You are also young, so should heal up quickly and be back to your old self in no time.
Fissure since about 2007 Fissure diagnosed in 2011 Diltiazem for two years - didn't work well LIS January, 2015 Hemorrhoidectomy December, 2017
I purposely didn't eat much the day before and 2 days after because I was scared of the first BM. I had it 3 days after LIS and it was a breeze. It'll feel weird, but I had no pain.
just pooped the rest of my emena out guys , it went scary.. as they didnt find active fissure :s but skin tag was removed ( maybe that was causing the discomfort feeling and burning ) they wouldnt perform lis on me as my fissure looked good so they gave me botox
jthe poop was more water but i feel a little discomfort stinging up where hte botox was
i am worried about the spasms hopefully someone reponds ( it feels more like small spasms like half spasms ) atm
this morning the burning and ache was very very vivid and lasted 3 days tbh this burning its calmed down alot atm tho
so please anyone thoughts ???? on why i still had the pain etc etc as would put my mind at ease
Hi it's great your fissure looks like it's healing. Botox can take a while to kick in and as you have had a skin tag removed and some injections there's no surprise your getting some small spasms. I'm sure these will fade soon. Botox really does relax the sphincter mine couldn't spasms at all after the first 24 hours and by 2 weeks I could physically feel difference. Good luck with your healing
