I didn't think I would Survive This

Postby Painandmorepain » 26 Jul 2016, 23:12

I finally want to say hi! I've been here a million times and I finally posted my success story HERE. Feel free to ask me anything.

I had an external Hemmy removed and it caused a anal fissure from HELL. It would not heal for over 6 months-- and just when I thought I would need surgery, I changed my diet (as described in my success story I shared) and my body healed FINALLY!

I feel like I could be a Colon Rectal Specialist since I've studied so much about ANAL FISSURES!! I feel like I know more then some of the doctors I've spoken to about this issue!!!!!

I have to admit I knew nothing about my butt or poop before I got this problem but now I know more then any human would want to know about this subject.

If you are losing your mind with pain, my heart breaks for you. Believe me when I say I've been there! I think everybody on this forum has been there with the pain!

You right, I relate to what you saying, I think you could run consultation around fissure problems.

Pinpin- I just retread ur story!!! I honestly can't believe that hemmy surgery brought us both down that road!! And it looks like we had similar diets too. The bad ones prior to all this. Have you started eating like you did before or have u changed your ways? I know the diet and the Aquaphor were big keys to healing for me

yeah I feel the same way,, we did have more knowledge about this issue than some Colon Rectal Specialist
my question is did you develop fissure right after you had hemmie surgery?
my case is I had skin tag removal surgery in Feb,, I realized i got tear from that scar tissues into fissure in late april or may. cuz the scar tissues left from the previous surgery is not flexible like normal skin

Yes I developed the fissure right after but I did not know what it was only that I was in pain for several weeks before I made my follow up appointment after surgery.

How do you know what the scar tissue is like?? Did the doctor tell you? I have no idea about that or how flexible. All I know that is I don't have pain in my regular life any more but I still do have a little discomfort when going to the bathroom still.
