Anal Fissure Diagnosis

Postby Alexis26 » 16 Nov 2016, 14:53

Hello,

I was originally diagnoised with a hemrhoid. Several months went past with no relief and I went to a specialist that advised me that I had a fissure. The stool softners have made it a little easier along with the baths. However, the expensive prescribed scream seems to burn more than numb or ease pain. I've decided to go on a juice fast to avoid the bathroom for a few days . Has anyone tried a juice fast to help healing????

I have tried almost everything to make it easier to "go". My fissure was caused by chronic constipation so once I healed thT problem the anal fissure took care of itself. I tried every laxative I could find, but my body didn't respond to anything other than miralax. Luckily it's safe for most people to take long term and I haven't noticed any side effects. It started to soften things up after 2-3 days and the pain from the fissure subsided within a week. Hope this can help you! Good luck
