I'm 7 weeks postpartum (episiotomy and stitches) 2 weeks ago started seeing blood on tissue after bowel movement then a glass like pain during bm
upon inspection have hole near anus...confirmed fissure at doctors Monday
she prescribed me rectogesic, schoproct and sodium docusate
Still sore to sit on chairs or sofa..feel so down as can't feed son comfortably never mind have any form of social life
Any similar stories xx

Sorry to hear you are struggling welcome to the forum.

Have you tried heat pads to sit on? are you having sitz baths after bowel motions?
keep up a high fluid intake and try to avoid constipating analgesia (codeine etc)
