Ah ok! Good to know. I haven't had the scar tissue thing confirmed by any surgeons, I just made that assumption myself but I will definitely get some opinions before going for the knife :)

I actually got knocked out thinking I was getting official back to me but when I woke up the surgeon told me that I didn't need one because I didn't have a hard thick layer of scar tissue so I didn't need it so you mite need to go under for them to have a good look at the fissure then they decide while you're under what the next step is then they do what ever that is.

Ah right! That must have been a nice surprise to wake up to that news. Yep, I think I prefer to go under and just let them do their thing.

I actually got knocked out thinking I was getting a fissurectomy and Botox but when I woke up the surgeon told me that I didn't need a fissurectomy because I didn't have a hard thick layer of scar tissue so you mite need to go under for them to have a good look at the fissure then they decide while you're under what the next step is then they do what ever that is.
