I woke up at 05:00 this morning and could not sleep anymore...haven't really slept much the last nights.
Throat is worse, have not checked temperature. I am so fed up now.

Can you call the doctor and tell him you have a mild cold-sore throat, no fever like Tabby said?
I would think for a mild cold, GA less than an hour would not be a problem. Maybe Pinky can advise us?
I know this is super stressful-to get all geared up for surgery and then have the chance that it might not proceed after all. But I would think for something mild like a cold for a short surgery that is not majorly invasive it should be okay.
