Return to LIS - Considering surgery or already had it?

I hope so. Can anyone who had a fistula help me out? The pain gets a little worse after a bm and the discharge increases. I'm worried that i'll need another surgery.

Day 4 to 10 can be a little more painful when it comes to bowel movements.
What is the discharge you are seeing?

It's kinda reddish. After my bm today the amount increased and was kinda dark, but I don't know if that was just leakage directly following the bm. I'm really hoping it isn't a fistula. There's no pain or anything.

I don't think it is. You are only 6 or 7 days post op. Give yourself some time. Quite likely discharge from the op site.

I hope you're right. I'm super nervous. Having to deal with chronic pain for two months, on top of depression and anxiety. This is so bad.

Thanks bro. I don't know what I would do without my father or you guys on the internet. The lump is basically parallel to the incision site. So I don't know. I'm really hoping it's nothing.

It just localized swelling. It happens after the operation.

Feeling alright. No pain. Nervous to sit down still. It's a mental thing. I think every little twitch or tingle is gonna make the pain come back. I need to deal with that. Seeing the doctor tomorrow and I hope nothing is wrong.
